Behind The Battle Foundation is in its early stages. We are officially registered in the State of New Jersey and are in the process of raising funds to apply for our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.

Through the generous partnership with Little Red Mermaid, a portion of every purchase made is donated directly to our foundation. We're also raising funds through direct product sales to keep our mission moving forward.

How Donations Are Being Used

We are committed to transparency in how we allocate funds. Currently:

• 40% goes toward legal and administrative costs related to forming and maintaining the foundation
• 60% is being used to begin delivering services and support to families in need

Here are some of the initiatives we're actively working toward:

• Welcome packets for families entering crisis mode
• A fund to cover mental health co-pays for those who qualify
• Two-hour childcare services for caregivers needing rest
• "Sponsor a Night In" meal deliveries to lift the burden of dinner for overwhelmed families
• A local spa partnership offering mini self-care services to help caregivers restore themselves

Building Community Support

We are actively partnering with local houses of worship, community centers, and meet-up groups to provide safe, understanding environments for caregivers to connect, share, and feel seen. Virtual groups are also coming soon for those unable to join in person.
